Meet Our Pastor

The Reverend Dr. Mike Ramey was called to serve Trinity as a Transitional Interim Pastor in November 2023. He and his wife, Laura, will be serving the congregation as they enter the process of calling a new, resident pastor.
Pastor Ramey was born and raised in Texas. He attended Concordia colleges in Texas and Nebraska, graduated from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO, and earned a Th.D. in Systematics from Trinity Theological Seminary in IN. While at Concordia, Seward NE, he met and married Laura Heeren, his wife of 43 years. They have four children and six grandchildren.
Pastor Ramey has served the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod as a pastor in Nebraska, Texas, Maryland, and North Carolina; as Transitional Interim Pastor in Virginia, Georgia, and North Carolina; an Army Chaplain, Circuit Visitor, and Church Renewal Consultant. He also is a member of the Lutheran Transitional Ministry Association’s Board of Directors and on the Board of Directors of the Interim Ministry Conference of the LCMS.
